My husband and I want to return to France, and after Paris stay in Provence? Or Villefranche sur mer? Which would be nicer and things to do for a week. And the convenience of Train travel around. We really don%26#39;t want to drive in France, I love trains and prefer to experience the wonderful French train system.

Take a fast train to Aix en Provence ou Avignon.
I prefer Aix en Provence. Fabulous market there!

I guess we could stay there Aix en Provence for 3 days then go to Nice for 3 days, that sounds like a good trip .

Make sure you don%26#39;t loose too much time on trains. Also you should know it is a lot aesier to see different villages and destinations from Nice than from Aix or Avignon. You have LOTS of trains passing by the Nice Ville train station.
You can go to Ventimiglia and Sanremo (Italy), Menton, Monaco, Eze-Village, Villferanche-sur-Mer, cannes, Antibes and Juan-les-Pins, all by train.
You can take the bas to Cagnes-sur-Mer, Biot, Vence and St-Paul-de-Vence.
Check the schedules for trains between Aix, Avignon and Nice.

VVMCA6 Thank you sooooo much, that%26#39;s the best advice I%26#39;ve had, So Nice is it then we can see different things by Train and Bus. Now all I need to do now is get city maps of these areas, bus and train schedules.
