Paris Marriott with Points, Family of 4??

Est-ce possible??

We have used rewards a lot in the US but never overseas...We are trying to book a reward stay for next summer in either Marriott Champs Elysees or Place Vendome...At both properties, rooms for rewards are max. 2 people, can%26#39;t even use rollaways...What have people done when they are traveling with small children wanting to use rewards? Are we SOL??

I saw a post from a family with 5, so I think we could find something if we have to pay...But we are on a VERY tight budget and really would prefer to save the $800 plus at least by using our points...

Thanks for any advice and help!!

First, if I were you, I would seriously call Marriott Corporate office to make absolute sure that your points will apply over seas. I know a lady who collects Marriot points and she told me that she couldn%26#39;t use them on her trip to Europe. Make absolute sure that your points will work in Paris.

If the worst situation is you can%26#39;t get rollaway beds and it%26#39;s a standard room, then 2 people extra will have to sleep on the floor. Usually there%26#39;s an extra pillow and cover in the closets or you can request extras. I%26#39;ve slept on hotel floors and it%26#39;s really not bad at all. It%26#39;s still more comfortable than camping in the outdoors.

I%26#39;ve recently used Marriott points to stay at the Renaissance Plaza Vendome.

Have you considered Courtyard Paris Neuilly? It looks like they have 2 room suites, and it%26#39;s pretty close to the heart of Paris.

Thanks for the information. All Marriott points work overseas, absolutely certain of that. So the person who was told that was misinformed. This is great value, in my opinion, as hotels there are so expensive!! The Courtyard Neuilly wanted $79 euros a night supplement, on top of the points...My husband tried calling again, on the Marriott Silver phone # and got someone who confirmed a reservation for 2 adults/2 kids. This is not possible to do online. They said the room has 2 double beds, but even if it doesn%26#39;t when we arrive, as long as the hotel is OK with the 4 of us, you are right, the floor is no problem when the hotel is $450 euros a night!!
