Paris Visite To Versailles

I%26#39;m going to get the Paris Visite card when i get to Paris, but would like to visit Versailles. Can i use this to get there and if i can what zones should i get?... 1-3, 1-5, or 1-8....Thanx in advance ...Jimmy

No don%26#39;t include all these zones, for Paris you need only zones 1 and 2, and then pay a separate ticket for Versailles which is cheap. You won%26#39;t need all the 1 to 5 zones for your whole stay, so save money!

Thank you sooo much raphy this site is great.....Jimmy

Last I%26#39;ve heard, the round-trip ticket to Versailles was only 5-6Euro... so as stated above, no need to buy the expanded pass.

Actually, the last time I was in France the price for a round-trip to Versailles from the Zone 1 of Paris was over 16 Euro. What I did, however, was buy a 3-day unlimited pass for Zone 1, and an extra ticket to get to Versailles and back. Together they cost me almost the same price, and I still had a travelpass to use for the rest of the week-end!

Hp slash, if you were charged 16 euros that might have included the entrance ticket to the chateau, because the train or RER C return ticket is about 7 or 8 euros at the most i think

I still have my ticket stub from last November the fare from central Paris to Versailles was 5.20 euros.
