citadines louvre

Hi

We (2 adults and 2 children) are staying at the Citadines Louvre for 4 nights. Can anyone recommend nearby cafes/restaurants that are good value for families?

Also

Has anyone used a 1 bed apartment with the children in the lounge? Did this work OK for you? Im told that twin beds arent available in the lounge and so my 9 and 12 year old daughters will be sharing a bed.

Well, your hotel is almost literally across the street from the food court in the Louvre Carrousel. It%26#39;s not exactly fine French cuisine but it%26#39;s great for kids and a pretty good value overall.

Have one of your kids bring a small sleeping bag. That allows some privacy.

If your kids are well behaved, you can bring them anywhere.

Menus will have choices for them.

Many restaurants and cafes in that area. Some you will find by walking around. I like the restaurants near Palais Royal and Galerie Vivienne and also the Brasserie at hotel du Louvre.

There are also many restaurant on Blvd des Italiens - near Opera - that cater to travelers and Parisians alike. Hippopotamus (a beef chain) has good food at reasonable prices and a very kids friendly atmostphere. Good French fries too.
