Would like some apartment recommendations for our %26quot;gals bash in Paris%26quot; in the late spring 2006. Would love something in a great location, $$$within reason, enough bathroom space, and of course, would love something with that great French flavor.

Hello,
Try www.francetoyou.com. She has several Paris apartments. The woman who handles the rentals is in the US making deposits and communicating is VERY easy. We have not actually stayed in one of the apartments....will do so, in Sept.

Sounds like it will be loads of fun. I%26#39;m just back from my 40th birthday bash in Paris with two other girlfriends.
So I%26#39;ve seen how hard it is to get apartments with separate beds! SO many of the %26#39;sleeps 4%26#39; apartments have a french double bed (ie, small) and a double sofa bed which is not my idea of comfort for 4 adult women. Usually only the one bathroom too, although we found this fine for three. You will be able to get what you want but it just takes more searching - which is half the fun!
Someone recommended this website recently and I thought they looked very modern and comfortable without being exhorbitant (provided you have the right number of people sharing the costs).

One way of getting more bathroom space might be to take two studio apartments in the same building.
I know I%26#39;ve seen a site recently which had numerous apartments where the double beds were formed by joining two singles together. When the name comes back to me, I%26#39;ll post the link!
Happy researching!

How are you going with your apartment search?
Seeing as I trawl apartment sites for fun, I thought I%26#39;d post any links I see that might suit you. You%26#39;d better tell me when to stop!! lol.
This one would sleep four, has 2 bathrooms and is smack bang in the middle of the Ile de la Cite:

Ooh, wait! This one is better. Five beds, two bathrooms, prettier and cheaper because it%26#39;s not quite as central but still very well located in the 7th.

Hello,
My wife and I just returned (last month) from a two week trip which included a week in a Paris apartment. We have rented apartments in Paris before from Roth-Ray. There apartments were good. Here is their link:
http://www.rothray.com/
This trip however, we rented from a GREAT agency-Guest Apartment Services! Most of their rentals are on the Ile St. Louis and are fairly expensive, but it is worth every Euro! I know that many people will say to save money on lodging because you will be out and about in the city all day, but it is truly special to return after a full day of sightseeing to a very Parisian apartment that feels very luxurious and chic. I know this sounds like I am being paid by the agency, but it was excellent dealing with them prior to committing, I checked many of the references that they provided, and the apartment itself was tremendous! Here is their link:

Their office is right on the Ile St. Louis so any questions (we did not have any) could be handled easily.
Feel free to ask more specific questions if you decided on either of these agencies.
Enjoy Paris..it is our favorite city in the world!
