Upgrading of train ticket from second to first class

Would like to know if I can upgrade my ticket to first class at the station in Paris for the train going to Lourdes.

If you have a ticket that can be changed then yes it wont be a problem. You will have to pay the difference between 2nd and 1st class. Allow plenty of time to do it. Lines can take 15 mins or so at the ticket windows.

Once you get the first class ticket make certain you purchase a reservation for a small fee. This will ensure you a specific seat on the train. For the same trip last year it was about $6US.
