hotel in the 5th or 6th with parisian flair

hi,

i%26#39;m looking for a hotel that screams paris. the majority of the searches i%26#39;ve done on TA for 5th or 6th district take me to hotels that have american-looking rooms. do you have suggestions for paris-looking hotels for less than 110E a night?

thanks.

I%26#39;m looking for the same sort of thing (only I%26#39;m cheaper then you). I%26#39;ve had good luck with the Port-Royal in that area. I%26#39;ve stayed there twice (recently) and both times I had floral wallpaper, a faux fireplace and an antique armoire - I don%26#39;t know why they have so many photos of their tacky lobby on their website - I promise it%26#39;s really a cute little place.

I also found this article while looking around today and they seem to have several decent suggestions (scroll down to %26#39;Latin Quarter Finds for Less then $100%26#39;).

My finacee and I will be staying at Hotel Europe Saint Severin that is located in the French Quarter in December. The rooms seem to be Paris looking rather than a cookie cutter American room. The prices are reasonable starting at 80E.

Have a look at Hotel Rive Gauche, in the 6th, near Saint Germaind es Pres metro stop....2-star hotel, nice, clean and with that Parisian style that you are searching for...and in your budget also!
