ATM Charles DeGaulle

What is the best place to change $ at DeGaulle airport?

With all of things you have do at CDG, you

might try ordering $100 or so in euros

at home and then use an ATM card for

cash throughout your trip. A credit

card could then be used for any

major purposes.

Take care in using an atm machine.

check the slot to make sure it hasn%26#39;t

been tampered with and cover your

hand when you punch in your pin

number

For major purchases, I suggest you should use your ATM(checking account) also because credit cards company charge you a 1-3% fee.

Ther are exceptions.

If you have your credit card with BofA

and use the BNP ATM machines there

is a minimum or no charge.

It used to be that the ATM%26#39;s in CDG were unreliable. However, on my last trip in May I found them to be in good working order. Make sure you have your cash in your checking account in order to withdraw it from an ATM.

Althought the ATM%26#39;s seem to work fine I could not use my credit card to purchase RER tix.
