Transportation from Paris to Normandy and Versailles

We will be in Paris with our group of nine mid-September for seven days. Is there a van service available with an english speaking guide that someone would recommend to take us to the beaches of Normandy, museums, and the famous tapestry? What day of the week is the best to tour this area? Also our group wants to go to Versailles. What is the best day and best way to travel to this site?

I did a web search and found this:

I can%26#39;t speak about Normany but Versailles is real easy. You take the Metro to a station that links to the RER (French train), and there are lots of them around. The round trip ticket to Versailles was $5.20 Euros, and the trip took 30 minutes from the center of Paris.

When you get off the train you exit the station and it is about 250 yards give or take from the front of Versailles. It took us about ten minutes to walk there while window shopping. There was a company selling a special deal on the way to the gate which is $50 per person, promising express entry, and a guided tour. Unless you need someone to walk you around to feel comfortable, which some people do and I understand that, don%26#39;t go for it. The express line wasn%26#39;t much shorter, and when you buy the combo day pass ($20 Euros), you get an excellent audio tour headset at no extra charge that worked very well. I like to go at my own pace faster sometimes, slower others. The head set provided great info and went at my pace.

You could also rent golf carts to drive around the gardens, which was super cool. It was $28 Euros for an hour for up to four people. You can drive all the way around the gardens, with music playing and a gps guided audio tour from the golf cart. It was a hot day and everyone else looked very envious as we crused around. It%26#39;s first come first serve and you have to wait till a cart comes back, which for us was about 15 minutes. It was so worth the wait. After walking all around the chateau this was a relaxing and cool way to see the vast gardens.
