Paris spring trip

Four female friends are planning a 4-5 day trip to Paris in the late Spring and would like some recommendations for inexpensive, yet cozy, well-equipped rooms - either to share altogether or 2 separate rooms. Would appreciate any help/suggestions. I hate my contact name - loser- long story/joke why I picked it so please don%26#39;t let that stop your contact. Thanks.

%26#39;Inexpensive%26#39;s translates into WHAT exactly for you?

Knowing would help a lot, you know. ;o)

cocochannel - I don%26#39;t know how to respond to your response - if you get this - this is my answer: would like to spend no more than $200 (US) for hotel - thanks.

CocoChannel - would like to spend no more than $200 (US) per night for hotel - less would be great though. Thanks.

200 US$ per room (double/twin) or for two rooms? You may find it difficult to find a quadruple for that price. It%26#39;s possible though, but don%26#39;t expect the Ritz for that price.

And then, imagine, just one bathroom for 4 women....

CocoChannel - I guess it would be for 2 rooms - you%26#39;re right, 4 women and one bath would be a disaster - Know anything about the Hotel Britannique - located on avenue Victoria?

Hotel Britannique gets but excellent reviews. Please do read the reviews here on TA. However, it%26#39;s a lot more expensive.

If you really want to stay within your budget, try Hotel du Lys**, Rue Serpente, off Blvd. Saint-Germain, 6th. Quiet location in the middle of all, but no elevator.

On several occasions, I have booked rooms online using the France.com website. You can do a search by Paris and then break it down by arrondismond (neighborhood, so to speak). I%26#39;ve been to Paris with my girlfriends in the past and we stayed at the Hotel Deux Continents in St. Germain. It was lovely. You can find rates on this site. On my first visit, I stayed at the La Louisiane in San Germain which was very basic, but very, very affordable. My balcony looked out over the most amazing French marketplace.

Either way, I highly recommend staying in St. Germain in the 6th arrondismond to get a true Parisian experience with the flexibility of being to walk to everything.

If you are there in late May, make sure to plan a day to see Roland Garros (the French Open). I went last May and it was very memorable.

Have a great time! You%26#39;ll love Paris.
