Paris for 5 days on honeymoon

Paris seems overwhelming with so many things to do. We will be there for five days in December for our honeymoon. Can anybody suggest the things we must do whilst we are there. We love food and wine and are planning a champagne trip. Also, what do you wear around that time...will we be freezing?

Difficult to answer what you must do without knowing

your interests. I can give you some general categories

and then you can use the search box to do research and

make decisions.

Museums - Louvre, D%26#39;Orsay, Rodin, Cluny, Marmatton

Churches - Notre Dame, St. Chapelle, Sacre Coeur

Eiffel Tower

Seine boat ride

Pere Lachaise Cemetery

Shopping - Galerie Lafayette, Printemps

Parks - Luxembourg, Tuillerires

rue cler

rue Mouffetard

Latin Quarter

Marais

Paris Walks

Day Trips - Normandy, Versailles %26amp; Giverny, Chartres

If, when you have finished your reasearch on all

of these, and need more, please send me a post.

Best Wishes

The Seine boat trip is a great way to get oriented to Paris, both times I%26#39;ve been there I%26#39;ve done that the first afternoon, a perfect way to orient and counteract the jet lag and keep you going. My one suggestion is when going into museums, unless you are an art expert pay the 5 Euro and get the headset tour. Also a good idea at Notre Dame. My other suggestion would be to plan a day or two in the middle to visit outside of Paris on a relaxing tour. Your Champagne trip in the middle would give your feet a break from the walking and also a break from touring and museums. One last suggestion, take a scarf. I was there in February and it was my lifesaver to keeping me comfortable.

Forgot the on and off bus. It is a good way to

relax and get a good orientation of Paris.

Thank you for your tips everybody! We are starting to get an idea of what we would like to do...

But remember you are on your honeymoon, so don%26#39;t schedule to many things to do or to see. Just enjoy being in Paris with your spouse. Otherwise it will turn out to be a tour de force!!
