Where to Stay in Paris??

Hi everyone,

My hubby and I (late 20/early 30) will be travelling to Paris on a tour in 2 wks. However, we have extended our trip one extra day but it requires our own booking of hotels in Paris. It will be our first time in Paris, or Europe for that matter.

Can anyone suggest a great location to find hotels, or specific hotels they can recommend? Our budget is about $150.

Also, can anyone tell me what the difference between Single/Double/Triple/Superio/Deluxe the different types of hotel rooms?

Thank you!!!

Your budget is for about 122 Euros. You could use the price ranges on the Paris %26#39;home page%26#39; and then read the comments.

p.s. did you know you could just add on a night to your tour hotel?

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Single - a room priced for 1 person, might be a %26#39;twin%26#39; size or %26#39;double%26#39; size bed but for only 1 person

Double - a room priced for 2 people, usually one bed, could be a full or queen-size (if you%26#39;re lucky); sometimes it is 2 twin beds linked together, usually made up with one set of bedding

Twin - 2 separately-made beds, sometimes pushed next to each other

Triple - a room priced for 3 people, usually 1 double-bed and 1 twin bed, but sometimes 3 twin beds

Superior/Deluxe - an upgrade of any of the above types, usually a tad more floor space, maybe a few more amenities (possibly but not necessarily bath goods, robe, A/C..)

suggest a great location: The Latin Quater. specific hotel: the Cujas Pantheon, it small, clean, has an elevator, and fits your budget

If it%26#39;s just for one extra day, I%26#39;d definitely try to stay at the same hotel you%26#39;re already booked in for the booked tour.

A lot less hassle, even if it should be somewhat above your budget.
