Easiest way from Paris to Giverny

Besides the Cityrama tour, how would we get to Giverny from Paris? Which train . . . which station?? Approx trip time and cost?? Thanks

Monks-in-Miami,

I am going to be doing the exact trip, and I found all the information I needed at Giverny.org It tells you the hours, cost, directions, restaurants, and has a link to the train you%26#39;ll take. You%26#39;ll go from Paris to the town of Vernon. If you depart Paris on the 8:00 am train, it will take 45 minutes. And, one departing Vernon around 3:00pm takes 45 minutes, all the other ones in between take about 2+ hours because they are not express. Hope this helps.

08:16 AM SNCF train from PARIS-Gare Saint Lazare to VERNON station (47 minutes--22,80 Euro r.t.) then #151 regional bus from the front doors of Vernon station to the gates of Monet%26#39;s Home %26amp; Garden at Giverny--15 mins--3,20 Euro r.t.)

We have booked a bike tour to Giverny -

http://www.fattirebiketoursparis.com/. You meet with tour leader at St. Lazare train station at 10:40am and return approximately 7pm. Tour company gets great reviews - we are really looking forward to this %26quot;different%26quot; tour.

Please let us know how the Fat Tire Bike Tour is to Giverny. We did the one to Versailles and it was wonderfu.

Lovetotravel - will return from Paris September 30th and will post my experience re Fat Tire Bike Tour; we initially thought to book Versailles but Monet has been a favorite of mine for years and just couldn%26#39;t pass up seeing his house/grounds.
