The price of Champagne in Paris???

Is Champagne in Paris expensive compared to Uk prices. How much should I expect to pay for a bottle of Moet in Paris??

We bought a bottle of Dom P. at Moet in Eperney. It was expensive (since we bought the best for a special occasion), but found it for the same price in the Paris shops. And, it is not much more expensive here in the States--we could have waited! So, expect prices to be about the same, but the selection will be greater in Paris.

I%26#39;d recommend Laurent Perrier which can be purchased at Nicolas, some Monoprix, and other stores for around 35 euros. It%26#39;s really a very good quality product for the price (it is the official provider to the Prince of Wales--not that he ever really had any taste, though!!).

I was in Tescos in Uxbridge last Monday and sw that they had a bottle of Moët %26amp; Chandon Brut for £23 (€32) while the same bottle is on sale here in Paris for €28. (Monoprix)

I was surprised by the great prices for all the bottles up to £40 or so.

With such little a difference I wouldn%26#39;t make the effort of adding extra weight to your luggage for just a few bottles.
