Anyone tell me which side is Port Mallot on, right of left. If you want to stay in DisneyWorld Paris, is it better to fly into Parid Beauvais or CDG?

It%26#39;s on the %26#39;left%26#39; side, the west of the city.
If you fly into CDG then there%26#39;s the possibility of taking the a special shuttle service to Disney (1-4 people is €76). It%26#39;s probably the easiest way to get there.
If you don%26#39;t take the shuttle then you%26#39;ll have to get into Paris (40 minutes RER B) in order to switch train and leave Paris again (45 minutes RER A). Ticket will cost about €8 single.
It%26#39;s about 45 minutes from Porte Mallot. Metro line 1 until CDG etoile and then hop onto the RER 1.
If I was going on my own and flying from Cork I%26#39;d take Aer Lingus and then the RER to and from Paris, but with a family the shuttle may work out better (though more expensive).

Hi ptegan - Yes, was thinking of taking our 2 year old, just trying to work out costs, the flights for 3 of us from Shannon - Paris Beauvais with Ryanair is the same price as 1 of us from Cork to CDG, obviously Cork would be handier from this side, but was wondering what the most straight forward option would be from the other side, is the shuttle pre-bookable, it is 76 euro for up to 4 people and how long does it take?

read kdk%26#39;s post here for info on the €14 shuttle..

I%26#39;d go with Cork to save you a LOT of travelling (i.e. cork to shannon and beauvais to Paris)

A lot is going to depend on the sort of airfare deal you can get to either airport---but for simple convenience of getting from your arrival airport to Disneyland Paris, CDG will be your best and most convenient air arrival point---with simple, direct, inexpensive shuttle service from your arrival terminal to DP, via VEA shuttle-- http://www.vea.fr/uk/index.asp
Air arrival at Beauvais will be a LOT less convenient and require a LOT more transfer time and aggravation. There us an SNCF train from the BEAUVAIS station to Gare de Lyon to switch trains to the RER A-4 train onward to the MARNE-La-VALLEE/CHESSY station, just outside of the entrance to Disneyland Paris. This would require that you take a public bus or taxi from BVA airport to the BEAUVAIS SNCF station.
The other alternative is to take the BVA shuttle bus to Porte Maillot in Paris (70 mins--13 Euro), then take the #1 Metro ligne to the ETOILE/Chas, deGAULLE stop (there is no RER %26#39;A%26#39; ligne connection at Porte Maillot) and transfer to the RER A-4 train onward to MARNE-la-VALLEE/CHESSY 1,40 Euro Metro, 6,20 RER A--travel time approx 60 mins...in addition to the BVA shuttle cost %26amp; time).
If you would be arriving at BVA on the regular week-day, late-night flight from DUBLIN, that flight doesn%26#39;t arrive until 10:40 PM which doesn%26#39;t leave you a whole lot of options for getting to DP and a very tight schedule for the BVA/PORTE MAILLOT/RER %26#39;A%26#39; transfer to DP.
