I need assistance please with a nice hotel for a family of four, either a quad or 2 rooms, any advice would be appreciated! We are traveling in November so many hotels doen%26#39;t have their fall/winter rates up yet.

You might want to consider an apartment. There would be many options available for 4 people and the price would probably be less than a hotel. You%26#39;d also have the opportunity to get a better feel for the city by staying in an apartment.

I agree with Truffaut. Renting an apartment is such a better value over a hotel, and you get the opportunity to cook a few meals and thus save a few more dollars.
If you need any help searching for an apartment, there are numerous options. A few forum members own apartments that they rent out during the year. If you would like to know about that just give a hollar!

we have been to Paris many times and we always stay in a really clean nice hotel near Gare Du Nord. It is not a five star but the place is always clean and the rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. They have a luggae storage room and will keep your luggage for you before and after checkout/checkin. Our plane from australia always gets into paris early in the morning and we always go to the hotel, drop our bags, get changed, go to the bathroom etc and then leave and come back at 2pm when our room is ready. It is close to two metro stops and there are really good food shops across the road and down the road from the hotel. We always book by email and have never had a bad experience. the owners are great and speak English. there are adjoining rooms for families and always ask for the back section, its less noisy and better value. There is a courtyard in the middle and it is a great place to sit in the afternoon and have a glass or two.
The hotel is called the Hotel Parisiana 21 rue de Chabrol 75010 paris their website is www.hotel-parisiana.com or email hotel.parisiana@wanadoo.fr. Their prices are good. Don%26#39;t expect the quality to be the same as home as eurpoean hotels are generally lesser quality than we are used to, however go with the flow and enjoy the culture for what it is. You are in the centre of the best city in the world so enjoy. It doesn%26#39;t have to be expensive. we walk all over Paris and ride the metro day and night very safley and always manage to eat well for not a lot of money.
Hope you have a great trip and if we can help in any way with more information just ask.

have a look at Hotel Timhotel Opera Madeleine, in the area of Opera, they have Family rooms so that probably can accomodate the 4 of us. Rate is about 150 euros per night, the hotel and area are very safe, very clean, and staff looks friendly and profesional!

Have a lovely trip in Paris!

In June we stayed at the Hotel Ares Tour Eiffel and had a very big (by European standards) quad room, with a big bathroom. Very clean, and good proximity to the Metro.

I just got back two days ago from a trip to Paris and stayed at the Hilton Arch de Triomphe. This was a great hotel. Not sure that it fits your budget but it was located in the 8th Arrod. and close to the ADT. A 10 min walk to the Metro. A fantastic breakfast buffet that is included with your room. We found the staff and the Cocierge to be very friendly and helpful. If your children are younger there is an excellent park just 2 blocks from the hotel. This area is a little more residential and a little less touresty but you are close to the action. One drawback is that it is not centrally located to most of the main sites but just a short ride formt he metro.

I agree with the apartment idea. go to parisperfect.com and you will see the most lovely apartments, that are as nice or nicer than home. very reasonable and I think you may enjoy the amenities especially travelling with a family....they are close to so much and the views are incredible.
My idea was to show my daughter what it was like to be in a real Parisian neighborhood with other families, not another hotel experience...we already know what that is like.
I definitely think its worth looking into and the landlords are so gracious...I recv%26#39;d a 23 page packet from them on EVERYTHING....more info than I would have ever gotten out of a concierge.
Best wishes for a fantastic family trip.
