disneyland paris

i love anything to do with mickey mouse even though i am 42yrs old, i have been to disneyland paris twice now and hope to go back next year, some people moan about it as usa park%26#39;s are bigger %26amp; better but some of us cannot afford to visit america%26#39;s disney world and are very grateful for the one in paris.

There is nothing wrong with loving Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse love is ok and you are fine.

I once saw an interesting TV show a few years ago about a guy in America who was a huge Disney fan. His whole house was decorated with Disney designs. I think each bedroom had a Disney movie theme, like one room was dedicated to the Lion King or something like that. There actually are some people who are really big die hard Disney fans and it%26#39;s their big hobby. Many people love Mickey Mouse and you are not alone.

Although I%26#39;ve never been to any of the Disneylands, I%26#39;ve read that Disney Paris is excellent so you really don%26#39;t have to worry about comparing them to the U.S. Maybe the Disney in Florida is probably the biggest one in the world but you%26#39;ll still get many of the same or similar attractions in Disney Paris so you probably won%26#39;t miss too much.

I%26#39;ve also have heard that the Disney cruise ship in the U.S. is excellent and first class all the way. Many people really rave about it and say that it%26#39;s really superb. I%26#39;d like to check it out someday.

heva42--according to my son, who is a Disney fanatic, he said the one in Paris is far superior to the Magic Kingdom in Florida. He said the rides are better and the theming is much better. But compared %26quot;on a whole%26quot; Walt Disney World in Orlando is better because it has 3 other parks (Epcot, Studios %26amp; Animal Kingdom) plus a whole lot more resort hotels, etc.

So, he thinks you are lucky because you%26#39;ve been to Disneyland Paris! lol

This makes me so excited! My husband and I are Disney nuts, and were married in Disney World last September. We%26#39;re going to be staying at Disneyland Paris for the first 2 days of our anniversary trip- hopefully it will be a great start to our vacation.

:-)

That sounds wonderful!

Hope you have a great time. I know you will.

I completely agree with everyone here - I absolutely love Disney and had the awesom experience of working for the Disney Store Australia for two and a half years (until it closed down :( ). I don%26#39;t care what anyone thinks, and my boyfriend still takes me to Disney On Ice every year because it makes me happy.

Disney represents the child in all of us that refuses to grow up -it is a symbol of what is right within the world, when things can seem bleak and unjust. Just put on a Disney DVD and you%26#39;ll feel fab again! So no one should ever feel embarrassed or whatever for liking Disney, just enjoy it!

PS we are staying 5 days at Disneyland Paris in December and can%26#39;t wait!

What a pleasent topic for a discussion....

Over the years I had the chance to visit both Disneys in Florida and California and went three times to the one near Paris...

I personally believe that the one in Orlando, Florida has the most to offer due to the many theme parks available (EPCOT etc...) however the one near Paris is very pleasent.... I noticed the European influence on the characters walking around you : you have in France less Mickeys and Donalds and more emphasis on other fairy tale characters: Sleeping Beauty, Alice etc...

I also enjoy visiting the Park Asterix... makes me relive all the stories I used to read and re read as a child.
