On the way to the Eiffel Tower, we were part of what I can best describe as a %26quot;Candid Camera%26quot; type prank show. I remember recognizing the name of the television show from the release form on the television in my hotel room, but I cannot remember what the show is called. I think it was on the France 2 channel. Any ideas?

Well you have us intrigued now. Are you willing to share what the prank was?
And here%26#39;s a web site for France2 (and links to 3/4 etc). There%26#39;s a list of programs in the bottom right hand corner of the page. Maybe you will recognise the name there?

Maybe %26quot;Le grand zapping de l%26#39;humour%26quot; on France 2 it is the only one i can think of which has candid cameras...

It was in the long, park area right in front of the Eiffel Tower, on the Ecole Militaire side. We were walking down the side walk towards the Tower, and there was a man in a white chemical suit, with a tank on his back that had a skull and cross bones on it, and he was spraying a tree with what appeared to be the contents of the tank. As we walked by, a little boy threw a ball at the man%26#39;s head, and the man whipped around spraying us with the %26quot;chemical,%26quot; yelling at the boy. He then started talking very quickly, asking if it got on my skin, saying I needed to wash it off immediately, etc. Of course, now I know it was ridiculous to believe that he would be spraying poison in that area, especially with such a comical costume, but when someone tells me there%26#39;s a dangerous chemical on my skin and I need to wash it off, those logical thoughts leave my mind! When the producer or whoever came out of a hidden area with the release form, he said it was for a segment in a children%26#39;s program. It might have begun with a %26quot;D,%26quot; I%26#39;m not sure, but I%26#39;ll check out that website. Thanks!

It was %26quot;Le grand zapping de l%26#39;humour!%26quot; Thanks so much.

Isn%26#39;t that the same program that is shown on Air France flights from the US? If so, it%26#39;s truly funny!
|||
On my last flights from South Africa they showed candid cameras from the humour festival in Montréal.

Oh so so funny, I think I would have laughed more when our cat got run over by a car.
Why does this kind of infantile drivel get passed off as humour? I suppose some people enjoy watching other people suffer.
