I would like to know if anyone has recently stayed at the Ambassador Opera Hotel at 16 Bvld. Hausseman and what room type - superior, executive, deluxe, etc...- they stayed in. And if anyone would be willing to take a look at the pictures on expedia and on their own website to tell me which pictures are actually of the room you stayed in.: expedia.com/pub/…f - AND - www.hotelambassador-paris.com/gb/index.htm
Thanks a lot!

On the Ambassador%26#39;s website, it describes a %26quot;Superior%26quot; as being on the interior courtyard. The room entry opens directly into the bedroom.
A %26quot;Deluxe%26quot; overlooks blvd Haussmann. There is a small foyer at the entry. There are two chairs and a small round table ( not included in the Superior room)
An %26quot;Executive%26quot; also overlooks blvd Haussman, and has a full desk to the side of the bed, not against a wall. There are two armchairs, one on either ends of the desk. The room size is quite large.
On Expedia, the decor / colors may vary from the Ambassador%26#39;s photos, but the room layouts are pretty much the same, and on the same side of building as indicated (courtyard vs street).
Standard = Superior: entry opens directly from hallway to bedroom, no small table, no large desk.
Deluxe = Deluxe: photo shows the round table w/two chairs and the foyer.
?? = Executive: I agree that Expedia is not showing an Executive room
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bottom line: to guarantee exactly which room you will get, you should book with the hotel directly (especially since their website is very explicit about each room category%26#39;s square footage and floor plan).
There are new %26#39;candid%26#39; user photos - it looks like the Deluxe room (small table/2 chairs, overlooks Haussmann)
