My family and I will be in Paris over the Christmas holidays. All of us have been to Paris before and are really just looking to relax as much as possible. We are renting an apartment and plan to cook some, eat out some and just take it easy. I would love some recommendations of mid to low priced spa or other relaxation activities in Paris. Trust me, we won%26#39;t be wasting our time in the city, but I want to make sure to include some solid rest time, too.
Thanks!

I%26#39;m looking for spa also. I heard from my landlord for our apartment that one is opening in the bldg. next door to us...but so far, I can%26#39;t get any specifics on it.
We are going for Thanksgiving, so I hope it is open by then as it would be very convenient.
We are staying in the 7th arr. Where is your apt.?

Try cinema. When I go to a city and don%26#39;t feel like sight seeing too much, I like to relax at the movies. Check the local paper with movie listings to find American or English language films. If you have an in room DVD player that can play your American DVDs, that%26#39;s great too. You can sit back and relax with a movie with some croisants and bon bons.
Sit at a nice hotel lobby with those beautiful plush sofas for a few hours and catch up on a good romance or murder mystery novel. I don%26#39;t think they will kick you out. I%26#39;ve done it before in nice hotels and pretended to be a guest.
Hotel Tremoille has a highly rated spa. They also have a sauna room area where people just relax.

If you want to splurge and do decide to spend more money, the Four Seasons George V hotel has a luxury spa. This spa was rated #1 in the world by the Zagat guide in 2004. Maybe you can try spa that for the ultimate in luxury.

Unfortunately we ran out of time to go so I can%26#39;t give a first person review.
