I was looking at ParisVision%26#39;s web-site and they have a lot of nice tours, not sure about the pricing, but looks o.k.
Has anyone toured with them? Does anyone have knowledge of their Candlelit Visit and dinner at Vaux-le-Vicomte? It sounds very nice, but wondering ....
A 7 hr. trip for an exceptional evening at Vaux-le-Vicomte! The evening begins with a visit of the carriage museum. Enjoy dinner in the L%26#39;Ecureuil restaurant in the converted stableblock. At sunset, visit the Chateau (audio-guide supplied) and gardens which are lit by 2000 candles. Classical musicplayed in the garden to bring a special touch to an unforgettable moment. 145Euros
Just wondering

Hi Chrisma
We have used Paris Vision. Haven%26#39;t done the tour you are talking about but have done others and they were fine. Cityrama is also another great tour company - you may want to check them out. They are both located along the Rue de Rivoli only a short distance apart from each other.

Both PARIS VISION and CITYRAMA are the two largest tour compoanies in Paris (Cityrama is a Gray Line company) offer the most and broadest range of tours and are entirely reputable and reliable.
If you are thinking of their evening Vaux-le-Vicomte candlelight/dinner tour, then by all means make reservations well in advance via their web site.

Hi Charisma,
I used ParisVision for the Normandy Tour and the
Versailles/Giverny Tour. Both were excellent.
I went to Vaux le Vicomte on my own and just the
building and grounds are a real treat.
See you at 4PM on Sunday, September 18th
in Paris !

Yes Paris Vision and cityrama are good, among the most renowned tour companies in Paris. Go for Vaux le Vicomte, very beautiful chateau made by the same team that worked later at Versailles. I have seen pictures of it when it is lit up and i always want to go... I have visited it during the day.

We have used ParisVision 3 times--very satisfied. The guides were excellent and interesting. The inclusive lunches were all much better than you would expect from a tour. If you%26#39;re leaving early from their office on Rue Rivoli, there%26#39;s a little coffee bar next door to ramp up your caffine and sugar needs.

Bon jour Raphy,
I was thinking about taking a guided day trip to Brugge when we visit in October. Can you recommend one tour group over the other for content and price?
Merci,
Jeaninne

50thbirthdaygirls,
I have just checked on both, and they are exactly the same in terms of content ( i followed all Paris Vision tours a few years ago, but not Cityrama although i know they are reliable also). You get to leave early, have a three to four hours drive if a recall well, get to Brugge, have a walking tour there (take good shoes) that ends in the center, where they show you the meeting point for the afternoon. You get to have a boat cruise ticket included in the price for both companies until the end of october. This cruise lasts about 45 minutes and then you have lunch on your own and free time until you meet back the guide later in the afternoon for the departure. For Cityrama it costs 121 euros for 14 hours and departures are Wednesaday, friday and sunday.
For Paris Vision it costs 122 euros for 13 hours (one hour less) and departs thursday and sunday. So for the length take Cityrama, but the content is exactly the same for both...Have a nice trip! i love Brugge

50thbirthdaygirls,
I have just seen that Paris Tourisme has a 95 euros visit to Brugge, or 125 with a hotel pick-up, and apparently it is guided also, but i have never followed them so i can%26#39;t really tell you...

We did the Cityrama tour to Brugge last year. We really thought it was a good deal.I would have lied more time in Brugges though. Now that we%26#39;ve been we feel more comfortable about going back on our own and plan to do so. I would definately use a guided tour for a day trip to the Loire. The chateau%26#39;s are spead out quit a bit and you%26#39;d spend alot of time drinving from one to another. We used Parivision for that trip The lunch they provided was wonderful.
By the way, Brugge was very chilly and raining in November. Our guide told us the weather is often much colder than Paris so bring your umbrella and jacket. We went into a little tea shop
and had pastries and tea and ran into our guides there.
