Day Trip from CDG with luggage

My wife and I will be arriving CDG early morning (about 9:00 am) from Barcelona. We should have spent 3-4 days in Paris already in the early part of our trip. Our outbound flight back to US is at noon on the next day. In other words, we have about a day to kill to wrap up our trip.

Constraint is that we will have our full luggages from a three-week trip in Europe. Is there a place that allows me to check in my luggages? At the train station?

With a rail pass still should have at least one or two days left, we plan to hit Lille for a day because there is TGV from CDG to Lille. We can’t do Tours because it requires us to get back in the town of Paris. Any other alternative that you think is a better idea?

Thanks,

WY

There are NO Left Luggage (Les Consigns) facilities at CDG airport or the SNCF/TGV train station attached to CDG #2 so you will have to take your luggage on the train with you to LILLE. There is a Left Luggage office where you may leave it at the LILLE-Flandres SNCF station--

Unfortunately, all of the direct TGV trains from CDG (approx. 50 mins) arrive at the LILLE-Europe SNCF station a few blocks away. So you will have to carry your bags from the LILLE-Europe station to the LILLE-Flandres station. If you are planning to stay overnight in Lille, before returning to CDG for your flight home, you might just as well carry your bags to your hotel instead. There are early morning trains directly back to the SNCF/TGV station at CDG #2 from Lille, which should allow you sufficient time to make the 50 minute trip as well as allow for sufficient time for check-in and security at CDG.
